About Fion

At first, art was a gentle ritual. A form of self-therapy.
I started painting because life asked me to evolve.
Fionaissance began in the quiet places—where words couldn’t reach and emotions needed somewhere to go. Art didn’t arrive as a grand plan. It arrived as a lifeline.
There was no strategy to become an artist—only a deep call to create, to feel, to reconnect with something meaningful. So I picked up a brush.
And somewhere between the flow of color and the grounding of texture… I found a voice. That voice became Fionaissance.
I’ve painted through change, challenge, and transformation.
Not to escape life, but to meet it more fully.
Raised in Hong Kong—a vibrant city layered with history, noise, and contrast—I often looked beyond the neon and bustle to find quiet. Art helped me see past the surface. To uncover what was underneath. That’s still what I paint today: not just what is seen, but what is felt.
Before painting, I spent over a decade in makeup artistry—always reaching for beauty, always creating with my hands. Now, I paint with that same instinct: quietly, intuitively, emotionally.
My work is rooted in resilience.
What started as a way to cope grew into a lifelong practice of healing and self-expression.
Art stayed with me—not just through the hardest moments, but into the brighter ones too.
My paintings are spiritual, layered, and intentional.
Each piece holds a piece of something I’ve lived—something I’ve risen through.
They don’t shout. They speak. They resonate.
Fionaissance is about becoming.
It’s a return to self after the world has tried to pull you away.
It’s about turning the in-between into something luminous.
If you’ve ever held your truth quietly, waiting for a moment to speak for yourself—this space was made for you.
This is art for the soul.
This is a rebirth—in paint, in purpose, and in quiet power.
Welcome to Fionaissance.
